CEUTA (AFRICA)

We were fortunate to have some members of our Norwegian family aboard and could give them the experience of sailing across the Mediterranean to Africa. We had smooth but cold sailing to Ceuta and were lucky to arrive at Hércules marina together with the participants of The Straight Challenge regatta.

In town the locals were busy creating "La alfombra artesanal para el Corpus Christi", loosly translated to "The handmade carpet for Corpus Christi". For those especially interested, click here for YouTube videos.

The return trip was rough and cold and took an estimated 4-5 hours. Unfortunately we saw no dolphins but we did see a moonfish so that is something.
