We were lucky to be greeted by two different species of dolphins on this trip. Heading to Ceuta we were met by a pod of striped dolphins (Stenella coeruleoalba) also referred to as short-beaked common dolphins. One leaped into the air giving us lots of entertainment. Going back we were surrounded by common dolphins (Delphinus delphis).

If you are interested in reading more about the striped dolphin, we can recommend International Whaling Commission.
