LEAVING FUNCHAL, MADEIRA

After three lovely days in Funchal we were ready to continue our adventure and head south to Tenerife, with Trim1 as company. We had gotten a permit to visit Ilhas Salvagens, two remote islands south of Madeira, but as we passed huge waves were crashing into the islands so we decided to pass.

It took us two days to arrive at Santa Cruz marina in Tenerife. Two rough days with the AB being sick with fever and the Captain doing all the work on his own.
