LEAVING PORTO SANTO - CANIÇAL SHIPYARD (MADEIRA)
After exploring Porto Santo for two days we decided to leave the island and head further south-west to Funchal, the capital of Madeira.
Even though we already filled two jerry cans we decided to fill two more so we headed back to the GALP station in town with a taxi. That done, before heading off we filled the water tank from the marina and after 10 hours, with perfect spinnaker wind and greeted by dolphins, we arrived at Caniçal Shipyard in Madeira where we anchored for the night.The next day we headed a couple of hours east to Marina da Quinta do Lorde where we refuelled and started our journey west towards Funchal.
