PUERTO DE LA DUQUESA

Sail and dine. After approx. 1-2 hours sailing heading for Duquesa marina you have four hours to enjoy lunch at the many restaurants or spend your time lazing on the beach.

Puerto de la Duquesa is a beautiful, small and intimate marina north-east of Sotogrande and surrounded by apartments, restaurants, bars and Playa de Las Gaviotas.
Once you are settled and comfortable we will serve you a welcome drink, snacks and refreshments.

We have seen dolphins, turtles and moonfish on numerous trips. They are unpredictable, but don't loose faith, keep a close lookout and hopefully they will show up to greet you.

Once at the marina you have four hours to explore, have lunch at the many restaurants, lay on the beach or just have a stroll before heading back to Sotogrande. If you wish, we can pause the trip so you can dive into the Mediterranean, go snorkeling or have a go at the SUP board.

If time permits, before bringing Tealie back to her berth we will take a ten minute detour down the canal to the inner parts of Sotogrande marina, past the luxurious and colourful apartments at the frontline of the canal.

PRECAUTIONS AND TIPS

MOTION SICKNESS

Motion sickness is the worst, especially wobbling on a sailboat with no immediate escape. However, if you tend to get motion sick, don't worry, there are some precautions to take before and during the trip.

Before the trip
During the trip
If nothing of the above helps, we will give you a bucket and head back to Sotogrande.
